So to begin with this collaboration… those two guys are dope as hell! I love to work with young photographers; I learn so much from them and I can upgrade my modest knowledge of photography. To be honest, I was a little bit nervous in the beginning, because I never got the chance to work with guys. I don’t know what’s wrong with me, but I always get so awkward around them, and act like I’m an idiot. In my head there is a voice telling me don’t worry, just act natural, but then the voice becomes louder and says:’’ You’re doing it wrong!’’ I can’t help myself; it’s just the way I am. You can imagine how awkward it was when I met my boyfriend #soawkward! But then I got to meet them and they were super relaxed and fun to be around. They presented me their idea and it was spectacular! I was about to become my old self – the tomboy! They had a ”street meets skater girl” vision, to prove to the boys they are as much a skater as they are #inyourfacesboys! We did the studio shoot first. For make up we collaborated with Mateja Justinek, her skills are insane; and those dope ass clothes you see, are a creation from an artist called Pirate Piška. Her clothes are super comfortable and you feel like you are a little bit of a bad-ass in them.
After fooling around in the studio, we went on location and hung out with true skaters (not wannabe’s like I am), that was fun!
Like I said, I’m so grateful and blessed to be around such young, brilliant talent; I lack superlatives here so I’m just going to be done with it.
