Hello my Loves, I hope you’re all doing well π
As you probably may know I’m not much of a makeup artist, I never really know when it’s enough of it. I’m the one who puts on very little and then I’m panicking it’s way too much while my friend is giving me a side-eye following:”You haven’t put anything one” yup, that’s me π
But let me tell you a little story. When I had my prom, a makeup artist came to my mom’s house and I specifically said I want natural makeup, nothing really dramatic or eye-catching, I think I was so invisible in high school so why drawing any attention now.
She spent, I think, two hours creating my makeup, her price was extremely high and when I looked myself in the mirror… There was nothing really on π When I sent the photo of my makeup to my friend and said do you see anything different on me she actually went and asked me if I washed my hair hahahahha. So I decided to do my own makeup for my prom, I still can’t believe that I did it on my own, and that’s when I started learning a bit more about makeup but I actually started using it more at the University but still, nothing extreme.
So every time I get to try out a new makeup brand I’m excited as if it is Christmas. Today I tested out some Sigma products and I have to say I’m really impressed.
I got a palette which has the most beautiful name Cor-De-Rosa it has the most beautiful colors and they’re extremely pigmented. My favorite three must be Sunsprite, Medallion, and Summer song, I think that’s not so surprising π I also love using Veranda for the base and finish it off with some sparkle which for me is Sunsprite. Another thing that I love is that it comes with a brush, it’s never too many of them, to be honest.
Another thing that was kindly gifted to me was a brow pencil which actually has two sides, one for filling your brows in and another one for brushing them through, which I can’t even begin to explain how handy that is. I used to have a separated brush and a pencil, or I had two in one but the brush was absolutely weird and the head kept falling out so at the end I just gave in and used a separate brush for brushing them through. I got it in the shade light. Another thing that I loved is that the pencil is thin so when you’re filling in your eyebrows it just looks like you grew some while you were filling them in haha.
Last but not least is a brush for contour, to be specific it’s F04. When I first saw it I wasn’t quite sure because I’m used to using a bit more of a fluffy brush to do my contour but I was actually wrong. The minute I picked it up to shape my face I knew this was the brush to actually use for contouring your face and then use the fluffy one to just blend everything out. I absolutely adore this one!!
Do you have any goodies from Sigma as well? Let me know!
