Skater Dress And Blooming Trees

There was a lot of you asking me where I bought this dress when I posted my Oscars dreaming blog post. I tried to find the direct link to it, but sadly the dress was out of stock. But they finally restocked it and I finally have direct link right HERE! I bought this dress for my graduation, so there’s a first reason why this dress means a lot to me. Rumor has it, you can’t wear sweats to your graduation, so I bought this skater dress in apricot color. I absolutely love the cut and the fabric is something else, let me tell you.

I couldn’t wait for the weather to be warmer so I could wear it and show it off. So let me tell you a little story about how this photo-shoot went down.  I wanted to take advantage of this beautiful blooming trees and I wanted to find one in Velenje, that wasn’t that hard but the tree that I had my eyes set on, was positioned in front of kebab station, so let me just imagine that for a second, me wearing this fine ass dress, posing in front of this beautiful blooming tree and if you look closer there is a big kebab and fries poster right behind me? Emmm… NO! ?So Nikolina, Nataša and I went for a blooming tree hunt and we sure did find the right one, but little did we know, that tree was protected by this male human who started screaming at us from the other side of the street how we’re breaking the law and he will call the police upon us. Are you freaking kidding me sir? What you mean is, I’m breaking the law if I want to take a photo of some random tree in front of someone’s house (we didn’t set a foot on their property for the record, we were on the street!!) while I have my f point on 1.6 and the background is blurred like crazy, and that somehow makes me some kind of vigilante? Let’s just say, that’s another perk of taking photos in Velenje! ? Oh my, we said we were sorry and we left immediately and you could still hear this man yelling and screaming how he will call the police (like we got the memo Sir, we are leaving!) I would understand if the property was his, but he was just some random dude yelling across the street, making himself look like he’s some kind of a hero or he’s some kind of protector of the Realm. Be aware people, if you’re taking photos from the street of a random tree you’re a criminal and I don’t know why you aren’t in a prison right now! ? We’re probably still the talk of the town and that man is probably saying how he saved his neighbor from us, camera holding, and pretty dress wearing vigilantes. ? He could have approach us and said girls, I’m sorry but you can’t take photos here and we would say sorry and just go away, but no, he thought that the best approach is to yell and humiliate somebody just for him to be some kind of a hero? This is what I don’t understand!! There are still some people who don’t understand that if you’re being polite and kind, you can have completely different impact on someone!! And I’m talking about little things here, like approaching someone and say politely can you leave please, not yelling like a crazy person! You always have a choice, you can be nice to people or you can be a rude jackass! This is why world, but mostly humanity is falling apart! Because we’re not kind to each other in the first place!! And I seriously think it all starts with little things!!

After that whole fiasco we went back to where it all started, my kebab and fries poster! ?But I think Nikolina once again did an amazing job, and she shot photos from the right angle! I wouldn’t mind eating kebab and fries just to be clear, just not in this dress!

Please, just try and be kind, it seriously costs you nothing! ❤❤
