Christmas Inspirational Makeup Look

People the countdown has begun and let me warn you, this week, I’m going to be soooooooo annoying with Christmas stuff, but I can’t help myself, seriously who doesn’t love Christmas? ?

So I was trying to do something special for this year and on my bucket list, was to do Christmas makeup, that kind of  makeup, you see on Pinterest where all the girls have eyeliner so perfect, your eyes starts to hurt. So the perfect eyeliner wasn’t the goal, the goal was to just try to do approximately good eyeshadow, just for once… Well my friend, that goal wasn’t achieved. There was voice saying: ”Step away from the eyeshadow palette, I said step away from the eyeshadow palette!” It wasn’t pretty, it wasn’t pretty at all! I did my left eye first and before I even start putting shadow on my right eye I gave up, there were black tears pouring down my cheeks from mascara but not from sad crying, but from laughing. I laughed so hard, and to even think what I was doing, it brings a smile to my face all over again. That day was the day, I accepted I will NEVER be good at doing makeup. Even the voice gave up and said: ”Soldier down, I repeat soldier down”.

People always tell me, that doing make up is a drill, you have to repeat it over and over to learn, but I’ve tried so many times and failed so hard! My main problem is, that I don’t know when is enough? When is enough of eyeshadow? When is enough of mascara? When is enough of blush? And don’t even get me started on that contouring thingy! Seriously guys, crickets in my head!

I didn’t even know that there are concealers that gives you more coverage than others, like come again?? And yes, yes I know, shame on me!

I have such a respect for all the makeup artists and beauty bloggers out there, truly you are all Gods and Goddesses! I have a lot of respect for this girl who agreed to do collaboration with me and help me, with my Christmas make up venture too. She is one of my closest friends and I love her to the moon and back! Her name is Mojca and she is one of that Goddesses I mentioned earlier, trust me!

There were times I wanted my hair or makeup to be done at certain way and I just showed her a photo and she was like: ”Okay, that’s easy.” She said that so easily, like me ordering a pizza: ”I’ll have two please!” Than you must know how talented she really is!

So to begin, I have to warn you, this is NOT make up tutorial, because I’m not a good example, am I? This is just an inspirational look for Christmas.

First, Mojca did my eyebrows with 3 different products, but you can use just one product, seriously there’s no need to go overboard! Yeah that’s what I said, but trust me, after using this 3 products, my eyebrows were on fleek!

First, she used a product by ESSENCE called Hello autumn – eyebrow set 02, walking In the park… how cute is that name? She applied it with essence brush.

Then she applied product by CATRICE cosmetics long lasting brow definer.

And finally, she applied eyebrow gel by ESSENCE, called Make me brow eyebrow gel mascara 01 Blondy brows, which I absolutely loved!

After doing my eyebrows, she used Coastal Scents 78 eyeshadow and blush combo palate to do my eyeshadow. She used brush by Body Soul and brush by essence.

Then, she used Make up REVOLUTION LONDON – redemption palette iconic 3, to smoke out my upper lash line.

We just used bunch of them, since we wanted burgundy shade, but all shades that Mojca applied were kind of soft pink or soft purple because I’m pale, and eyeshadow just doesn’t like my pale skit apparently, but at the end she hit the right color. Try to imagine me hitting the right color…. I can’t even!

Then she used Smokey eyes pencil by CATRICE and she applied it on the top and bottom of my waterline.

After applying Smokey eye pencil, she used concealer by BOURJOIS PARIS 123 perfect CC eye cream, which I’ve learned it gives you full coverage #yaayme Look at me, talking all make up and stuff… Okay, too soon, too soon. She used BH Cosmetics 121 brush to cover all of my blemishes.

After she covered blemishes, she used Mascara by Deborah Milano, called Dream look.

After all of that, here comes the most stressful part, it’s contouring time! Here, I’m lost, I’m even more than lost. She used Makeup REVOLUTION LONDON Iconic lights and contour PRO and she applied it with BH Cosmetics 114 brush.

Then she used highlighter, again by Makeup REVOLUTION LONDON Iconic lights and contour PRO and she used brush by Real Techniques Contour brush.

Then she used blush by ESSENCE Satin touch 10 satin colar.

And lastly she used MATT lipstick by ESSENCE – Perfect match 02

Here are some behind the scenes of what we were doing ?

So here we are! Mojca, who knows exactly what she’s doing and me, pretending to know what I’m doing, when I don’t even know, why there is brush in my hand pointed towards my eyelid.

To all clueless make up try outs, remember you are not alone, I’m with you! ❤
