We need to talk about BBold tan okay? When I decided that I’m going to be using fake tan in the summer, I went with Bondi Sands because it was the most requested on the market and the prices were reasonable. I was using Bondi Sands all last summer and this one as well, but a little e-mail dropped in my mailbox, and it was from a brand called BBold which is a brand that’s based guess where? In Ireland <3 I was super excited to try out something new because I wanted to try other products but I just don’t have time to explore.
BBold was kind enough to send me:
BBold liquid dark spray which leaves instant color and it dries quickly, I haven’t tried that one out, but I can’t wait to!
They’ve also sent me BBold smart mousse, which is 3 hours express tan. I tried this one out by the weekend, and I will tell you all about it!
BBold contour kit; I haven’t had a chance to really try it out yet, all I know is that I have never seen a highlighter more pigmented in my life. It shines bright like a diamond! Nd I’m so proud of myself for using a word: pigmented.
BBold professional multi-purpose brush, which you can use for applying a tan on your face, which I always do, or you can use it for applying a contour kit.
Last but not least, they send me their microbifre applicator glove. After using this one, I will never go back to that spongy application mitts!
Now let me spill some tea!
When I saw they have 3-hour express tanning, I said yes to that! So let me just throw a little information about Bbold smart mousse:
It has three simple steps, APPLY, SHOWER, DEVELOP and with this regime you will become beautifully bronzed while feeling completely fresh.
- It does not have that fake tan smell,
- Definitely no streakiness
- No transfer onto shits
- It has Kahai oil in it
- It’s natural organic DHA
- Paraben free
- And it’s not tested on animals
Leave your tan for:
1 hour: and you will be softly sun-kissed
2 hours: be a golden goddess
3 hours bronzed and beautiful.
But don’t worry it’s recommended to leave it on overnight, you can have it on for eight hours or more, it just develops more. Even after three hours, the tan is developing itself.
I have tried it out at the weekend and here are my results!
First of all my mind was blown away by their application mitt, it’s the softest thing ever! On their site says and I quote:’’ Using velvet microfiber material, this luxurious glove helps to provide a streak-free application while minimizing product absorption.’’ That’s absolutely true! I had so many application mitts and all of them just tore apart, and they absorbed a humongous amount of product! This one is by far the best I’ve ever had!!
When applying the mousse I thought oh my, this is not dark enough for me, but when I woke up next day my tan was perfect! Even after showering and applying moisturizer the color was still developing.
I was super excited to see if this one is transparent or not and I have to say that I was surprised that my sheets weren’t covered in tan, so that’s a huge plus for me!
Now about the smell, I wouldn’t say that it doesn’t smell like fake tan the next day, because it does, at least on my skin. But it’s true that it’s not as strong as Bondi Sands. Bondi Sands has a strong smell even after showering. It doesn’t stink or anything, but the smell is definitely present.
My impressions about BBold fake tan are definitely surprising! I’m glad they’ve contacted me to try it out because I’m going to use it all the time! I will definitely keep you posted about that spray and contour kit.
