The Girl With Pink Hair

I am super excited to finally share with you one of the most fun shoots I’ve done. But there’s a little twist. First of all, I have never worked in a studio in my life. Lights? What’s that? Something to eat? And I have never worked with anybody before, not with a brand or a hair makeup artist; I seriously don’t know why! Maybe it has to do with the fact that I’m a perfectionist and if I’m workig by myself and something goes wrong I’m the only one to blame. But if the other person does something wrong, I don’t have the heart to tell them haha! I know that’s not okay, but I kind of get around that and make that work. Maybe it also has to do with the fact that I’m shy and I don’t like to be rejected and because I’m a blogger that kind of has a stigma written right on my forehead, since:’’ Bloggers are reaching out to brands just to get stuff for free’’ apparently! I remembered being everything in between for all of my shoots, a stylist, a makeup artist, etc. But I’m so glad that I teamed up with the most amazing people and did this shoot, trust me it felt like a huge burden just went to ashes.

¨

As I said before, I was scared something would go wrong, but in this situation, this was not the case! First of all, I love working with Sara, I worked with her for several times, and it has nothing to do with the fact that she’s my best friend! She just knows exactly what I want, and she always delivers and makes my photographs look even better than I imagined them in my head! She’s a professional, and I will forever be grateful to work with one of the most unique faces in the industry.

¨

Then we have Nina Lončarič, who’s a makeup artist and I never worked with a makeup artist before. What I have to say is that she is a professional and knows exactly what she’s doing. She saved me because you already know that I know zero about makeup! So we teamed up, and I could not be happier with the photographs! My goal wasn’t doing any beauty photography because I never did them before but this makeup was just too perfect not to eternalize it! I hope we will continue to work together because she upgraded the whole style and photographs as well!

¨

The hoodie, backpacks and the beanie are from a Slovenian brand called BOOPACKS. I’ve been in love with the sisters standing behind this brad for forever! Their story is such an inspiration, it makes you feel like you should start your own business too, which is fun in theory but you have no idea how much hard work goes into creating and maintaining your own brand. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to work with them!

¨

I would absolutely love to work with more Slovenian brands! I love supporting young artists, designers, influencers so if you’re one of them too, make sure to reach out to me, and we can create something together!

Thank you so much and for the studio, none of that would be possible without your help! :))
