Schoolin’ Life

School is about to start, and I’m super excited, yeah I’m really that big of a nerd! Since this is my last year in college #imcrying I really need to start taking things more seriously, so this is my ”First/last/serious back to school outfit post”! I’m going to kick off this school year with mostly vintage clothing! And by the way, I wish my main study accessorize was Harper’s Bazar but sadly, it’s not!

I’m wearing my mother’s vintage turtleneck and plaid trousers my friend gave me for my birthday (Lucija <3). There’s a funny story behind those trousers actually! They used to be kind of pastel green, but I wanted them to be black, so I bought some clothing color and dyed them, but as you can see they didn’t turn out  black, obviously. So let me explain, why is that! Those trousers are made mostly out of artificial materials like polyester, polyamide and elastin, and they contain only a glimpse of cotton. You see, when you have a shirt, pullover, literally anything mostly made out of cotton, the colour will grab on it, and never let go, why? Because cotton is a natural material, and natural matertial + clothing color goes together like Daenerys and Khal Drogo! So if you’re about to dye your clothes make sure there’s always 20% of artificial fibers and 80% of natural ones! I’m so happy that those trousers didn’t turn out to be black, grey is hell of a good color and it goes perfectly with everything! Grey is a daughter of black, black is the mother Queen! Ughh, enough of color family tree… I’m also wearing vintage shirt, a clutch from Primark which I bought for 7.00 € and sandals from C&A. Wow, I went from how excited I am about school, to explaining my outfit, to how to dye your clothes at home… I seriously need to stop babbling!
