So every time Balmain drops new campaign or a collection I’m losing it, like seriously I’m dying right there! #gone! Olivier Rousteing, in my opinion, saved Balmain for good. He is only 28 years old and he’s already the creative director of Balmain, thumbs up for that one! I don’t even want to start on his looks! He has cheek bones to die for #againdying! I respect him because he is making clothes for every body type. He praises curves and that’s how it should be. I even quote: “Fashion had started to forget women in a way, and concentrate too much on the clothes. For me it made no sense,” he says. “In fashion the biggest moment was when the models were celebrities – we all remember Naomi, Claudia, Carla, Linda. The woman had to come back; the curved woman, and different kinds of body shapes. I don’t like skinny girls. I want to represent a real woman, not just a shadow or a ghost.” You see, no words needed!
So for the new fall/winter 2016 campaign Balmain collaborated with no other than Kanye freaking West and Sia. The campaign is all about ‘’music fashion fusion.’’ Photographer for this one was legendary Steven Klein. When I watched video I instantly got inspired and went to shoot some Wolves myself. I have to say that I’m not as legendary as Steven Klein (and may never be), but at least I try to go beyond my comfort zone and create something beautiful. My model on this one is the gorgeous Nikolina Babić. She has the most amazing bone structure ever, I mean just look at her!
